Class of 2024 Joins the Alumnae Association
The Class of 2024 was officially welcomed into the Alumnae Association during the annual Senior Mother Daughter Celebration & Alumnae Association Induction event. Students and their mothers/guardians gathered for a prayer service and induction ceremony in celebration of our lifelong sisterhood.
Nine new Class Agents were named (lower left): Annemarie Brown '24, Riley Morris '24, Amanda Phifer '24, Katelyn McGuire '24, Isabella Yanez '24, Lauren Kelly '24, Emma McCabe '24, Anna Sarsfield '24, and Madison Markward '24 (not pictured).

Sign Up to Mentor a Student! The Gwynedd Force Mentorship Program is seeking 96 dedicated Alumnae Mentors to guide and support the Class of 2025. Sponsored by the Alumnae Association in collaboration with Gwynedd's Leadership Department, this program is a unique opportunity to give back and make a meaningful impact on our students' lives. As an Alumnae Mentor, you'll have the chance to connect with your student mentee throughout the school year, providing guidance and support as they navigate the college application process and prepare for their future careers. Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out, your wisdom and experience are invaluable to our students' success.

Alumna Gives Science Demonstration
London DiIorio '23 returned to Gwynedd after completing her freshman year at Lehigh University where she studies biology. During her visit, London gave a demonstration about bones to ninth grade students. Last year, the Gwynedd science department lent London, a licensed taxidermist, a collection of bones to clean and assemble. She brought them back and answered questions about the animals and their anatomy. |

Yiying "Linda" Wang '19 graduated from the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania with her Master of Science in Education in Higher Education. | Students Give Back to the AAPI Community
In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, Gwynedd's AAPI Alliance Club hosted an event during Community Period where girls were able to decorate brown paper bags that will be sent to Heart of Dinner, a New York City-based organization serving elderly AAPI residents dealing with food insecurity and social isolation with fresh groceries. The AAPI Alliance Club has supported this organization throughout the year with different service events and bake sales. Today was also a wonderful experience for students to unleash their artistic creativity and learn to write in various Asian languages!

| Archdiocese Celebrates Students
Three seniors, Ava Kolp '24, Nina Zoglio '24, and Dylan Burke '24, represented Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School at the 44th Annual Archdiocesan Academic Honors Convocation. Seniors in the top 3% of their classes from 30 Archdiocesan and private Catholic secondary schools throughout the five-county region were invited to attend. |

The Gwynedd Mercy school community gathered for our final Mass of the year as a full community. It was a beautiful ceremony, highlighted by Riley Morris '24 and her mother Kimberly who crowned Mary in our upper courtyard. |

GMA and LaSalle Work Together
Gwynedd hosted an inspiring day of leadership and service, welcoming boys from La Salle College High School. The event featured leadership activities, including speed interviews to enhance students' future readiness and communication skills. Additionally, with the guidance of Mr. Frank, students teamed up to create marketing pitches. They also gathered donations and packed them for Project Home in Philadelphia.

| Students Recognized for Mercy Videos
The Sisters of Mercy announced the winners of their annual Social Justice Video Contest. Participants in this year's contest were given a choice of two topics around which to create a video: immigration and voting.

The Gwynedd Flag Football team has secured the title of Independent League Division Champions after their game against Bristol High School! Way to go, Monarchs! The team is headed to the Eagles Girls Flag Football District One Championship at 5PM on June 1 at Lincoln Financial Field. |

| | Engineers Leave Their Mark
The engineering class came together for a special group project as a final gift to Gwynedd Mercy. Over the past three weeks, with the incredible guidance of Ms. Naucodie and Mr. Berger, this talented team of students designed and built a beautiful bench for everyone to enjoy. |

Musicians Build Guitar
With the help of Mr. Hanrahan and Mr. Berger, our talented guitar students designed, decorated, and built an electric guitar from scratch. They expressed their creativity in designing the guitar body and dove deep into the science and physics of guitar building. The project wrapped up with an impromptu jam session in the music room, where they proudly showcased their amazing creation! |
